Sit Down Ladies.... We Have Plenty of Time!!

Last weekend Layne's Mom, sisters and I all went on a quick road trip to Las Vegas. We left for Las Vegas at 5:00 am on Friday and left to come home on Sunday at 9:00 am to be home by 5:00 pm. It was a quick trip but we had a blast with a little stress...

Three miles to the exit of our hotel, we got a flat tire right on the freeway. Thankfully we were around civilization, but still sucked that we even had a flat tire. Thankfully DOT showed up and help us replace the tire, after we unloaded all our luggage onto the freeway. Once we were able to get to the hotel and after dealing with the flat tire issue, we then were able to start to have some fun. We walked down the strip for our dinner destination and to see all the sites. By the time we got back to our hotel room, we all put our feet in the tub and let them soak because they were so soar. Of course none of us had proper walking shoes on.

The next day we headed to the outlet mall, which was awesome but needed a second day just to hit all the stores without rushing. Maybe next time.

The whole reason why we headed to Las Vegas was to go see the Lion King Musical. All I have to say is that the show was amazing and I get chills every time I talk about the show. The costumes, masks and singing were all amazing and the quick trip was so worth it, even with getting a stupid flat tire.
